Are you a Buyer, from a mechanical or industrial background, looking to work for a specialist manufacturer offering on the job training and career progression?
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a rapidly growing business and learn from industry experts in the aerospace industry.
My client operates across multiple continents and are renowned for their innovative products in the aerospace, aviation, and defense sector. They are looking for someone from a mechanical or industry background to take on a Buyer role at their site in Springfield, OH.
In this role your main responsibilities will be to negotiate terms with suppliers and coordinate flow of materials, products, and tools in line with customer requirements.
This would suit a Buyer who has worked in a mechanical or industrial environment, looking to develop their career and receive new industry training.
The role:
- Part of the purchasing team - 3+ people
- Negotiating terms and deadlines with suppliers
- Monday - Friday 100% on site - potential for some travel in future
The Person:
- Buyer / Planner / Purchasing Specialist
- From any mechanical manufacturing or CNC machine shop environment
- ERP software experience
