Are you a Support Technician with experience in 1st & 2nd line support? Are you based in Essex and looking for a company where you can progress your career and feel part of a valued team?

This company are an international business with 50+ years of experience. As they continue to grow they are now looking for a 1st/2nd line support technician to join the IT team and grow with them.

In this role you will work on Windows 10 & 11 providing 1st and 2nd line support to internal employees. You will support users on endpoint software whilst also configuring and setting up hardware like desktop and mobile devices. You will need to keep on top of the IT security measures and be the main point of contact for troubleshooting and problem solving for software/hardware related issues.

The ideal candidate will be am experienced 1st/2nd line support technician confident with Windows 10/11, hardware, software, problem solving, troubleshooting and good communication skills. You will need to be commutable to Brentwood and be happy with 5 days per week in the office.

The Role:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal employees.
  • Working on Windows 10 & 11.
  • Support users on endpoint software.
  • Configure and set up desktop and mobile devices.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security measures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Address software and hardware-related issues.


The Person:

  • Experienced 1st/2nd Line Support Technician/Analyst
  • Confident with Windows 10/11, Hardware, and Software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Commutable to Brentwood 5 days per week
