£24,000 to £26,000 + Package

Excellent opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a financially strong, stable, and well ran organisation in a highly varied and interesting role where you can progress your career.

Through this period a lot of companies have struggled due to COVID-19, however through working with a range of key clients this business has continues to thrive. Through growth they are looking for a 2nd Line Support Tech to join their busy team.

In this role you will offer IT Software Support to a range of internal users across the UK. You will help support the business operations by providing effective 2nd line software support and managing escalations coming from the 1st line helpdesk personnel.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of 1st line support. Any experience of 2nd line software support is an advantage.

The role:
*Offer IT support to internal customers
*Responding to queries raised by internal customers by telephone and email
*2nd Line software support ERP liaison between customers and ERP solution providers
*Escalate issues to the software development team
*Remote working with occasional trip to Leicester

The person:
*Previous experience of 1st line support
*Experience of 2nd line software support beneficial
*Strong MS Excel, or SQL skills beneficial
*IT Support experience
*Customer service skills
