Analogue IC Design Engineer (12 Months FTC)
Remote - London
£40k - £70k DOE + Pension + Holiday's + Progression

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate Analogue IC Design Engineer to join a refreshing start-up that have long term prospects to become a global, industry leading business.

The company is a Semi-Conductor start-up developing NVM technologies with propriety intellectual property. They have a small and dynamic team that are developing the technology and their primary goal is to commercialise scientific innovation, as such they are looking to expand their current team to help.

This position will involve working with silicon design, verification and validation tools to guide successful product implementation, developing the automated verification flows in EDA tools, data and statistical analysis and designing methodology development and optimisation. CMOS technology, analogue design at transistor level, DRC, LVS, EXTRACT and Post Layout simulation. You will be part of the mixed signal design team in charge of memory IP development for several CMOS technology nodes starting from 0.25um. You'll be overseeing part of the mixed analogue-digital IP design solution definition from electrical specification.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Material Science or similar with 3+ year's commercial experience. You'll need experience in physical synthesis and layout verification, low power memory chip verification, C or C++, Perl and Python programming, commercial EDA tools, and the ability to plan, coordinate and take responsibility of effective and punctual completion of projects.

*Remote with the odd day in London office
*Up to £70k based on experience

The Person:
*Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
*Candace tools for analog design - ADE Virtuso, Spectre etc.
*Experience with programming languages, either C, C++, Perl or Python
