The company operate as a general contractor in Long Island providing full service new construction expertise across multiple sectors (Commercial, corporate, healthcare, federal & more). You will have the opportunity to work with a design build, construction management & contract furnishings company whose aim is to ensure top quality developments are delivered to clients & ultimately the community they serve.

This role is looking for someone who is client-centric, great energy & passion for managing multiple projects in the future. The role typically will require assisting the Project Manager to supervise the day-to-day client relationships, ensuring projects are running smoothly, liaising with various departments dealing with specific projects, assist the project manager with client relations, assist with subcontractor organisation & shadow the project manager during day to day duties.

The Role:

  • Assist with the budgeting, scheduling, negotiating *& controlling costs
  • Visit sites to assist with the evaluation of existing conditions & identify any scopes that may not be included in the design documents
  • Client facing & representing role - Working with the site PM
  • Assist with the rest of the team to ensure the project runs smoothly & contributes to achieving company goals
  • Liaising with the site team, superintendents, estimators & design team to ensure the project is running smoothly, assisting with any issues
  • Assist with the Managing & supplying cost effective solutions to clients

The Person:

  • Experienced in new build commercial construction &/or experience in the role
  • Degree in Project or construction management
  • Based In Long Island
  • Appetite for learning & ambitious
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal staff, subcontractors & clients
