An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with Construction experience to join a luxury housebuilder who pride themselves on building quality prestigious developments.

This housebuilder specialises in traditional new build housing developments from concept through to completion. They have a reputation for quality builds ensuring the highest quality is maintained throughout the design, build and handover process. This company have managed to thrive since the pandemic and have a thorough growth plan this will increase their units from 120 per year to 250 per year. This company are currently looking to build a Commercial team, this will mean you will be the playing a pivotal part in the company's success. They understand that their staff are the foundations of the company and therefore offer a generous offer letter as well as an outstanding benefit package and bonus scheme. They are looking to employ an assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to influence the commercial department and assist with the delivery of high specification developments.

This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Quantity surveyor who is looking to join a High-Quality Developer with and play their part in the success in a growing company.

In the role you will Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor working on 3 to 4 developments at any given time. Your duties will include but not be subject assisting with the whole procurement process from tender enquiries, appraisals, and order placement all the way to valuation processing and final accounts. You will also be assisting with monthly valuations (CBR), attending development meetings and chairing where necessary.

The ideal candidate will have Quantity Surveyor experience with a Construction who is looking to contribute to a company's continued success.

  • Subcontract procurement / Management
  • Cost reporting
  • Picking up changes/ variations to plan
  • Analysing and reporting costs

The person:

  • Quantity Surveying Experience
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Looking to progress you career with a growing developer
