BIM Technician (Sustainability)

Based in: London or Milton Keynes

Office based role with optional remote work twice a week after completion of probation period

£30,000-£45,000 + Annual bonus & salary review + Private health cover + Holidays package + Income protection

This company specialises in innovation through consultancy and the designing of projects in a wide variety of fields including sustainability, mechanical and electrical to name only a few. Having established themselves as a revered and dependable firm known for their expansive projects with some of the world's most recognised companies, they are now looking to grow in response to a sustained increase in demand for their services.

On offer is the chance to lead all building modelling aspects for sustainability projects, work in a team of established engineers and sustainability professionals, and collaborate on some of the UK's most successful industrial buildings with some of the world's most recognisable companies. This firm are now looking to grow their sustainability team until it becomes its own standalone service to the business.

In this role you will be taking end to end ownership of new existing proposals, frequently liaising with the head of sustainability. You will be monitoring work quality produced by the sustainability contractors and engineers. You will also be offered multiple training courses in line with your career development.

The role:

  • Working alongside the Head of Sustainability on all building modelling aspects of sustainability projects
  • Monitor the work quality produced by the sustainability contractors and engineers
  • Researching and developing new approaches to projects for the benefit of clients



The person:

  • Must have experience with Dynamic Thermal Modelling (TAS or IES)
  • Degree in a relevant subject
  • Be a member of a relevant professional institute (IEMA or CIBSE for example)
  • Understanding of current UK legislation, building regulations, British Standards and Codes of Practice
