In this role the Building services manager will primarily be responsible for managing the operational availability of all the mechanical engineering services including a major steam, chilled water & ventilation systems along with the major Trend Building Management System (BMS) across the Estate including ensuring a comprehensive planned maintenance regime is in place and managing any associated repairs.

The ideal candidate will have come from a hands on building service background and progressed into a senior/ management role.

The role:

*36 hours a week
*Monday to Friday days based role.
*Ensure all plant is operating efficiently and utilize the Estate's BMS as required to identify plant faults
* Act as maintenance representative on projects
*Lead a team of mechanical engineers
*Carrying out 10% checks on maintenance works carried out by Operations team to ensure work has been completed to the required quality.
*In conjunction with the central maintenance and compliance teams ensure a comprehensive planned maintenance regime is in place via Planon IT system
*Ensure all expenditure is in line with House procedure
*Ensure all plant is maintained in a safe condition and to appropriate standards at all times.
Identify and manage repairs primarily to mechanical infrastructure and controls systems such as our Steam Boilers, Main Chillers, pumps, fans & associated motors and controls etc

The person:

*Candidate will hold a qualification in engineering.
*Come from a facilities or building maintenance background
*Management experience is preferable but candidates who want to progress into management roles will be considered
