£40,000 - £45,000 + 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays + Car + Bonus

Excellent role on offer for a Buyer from a construction background looking to join a highly prestigious house developer who are well known for their unique approach as well as looking after and supporting their staff.

Are you a Buyer from a construction background? Are you looking to join an expanding company who are well known to look after their staff?

This residential contractor build high-quality, bespoke homes around the Midlands area and pride themselves on delivering a great service to their customers and have therefore developed a strong brand image in the area. They now require a Buyer to provide their knowledge and technical skills to help drive the company forward.

Reporting to the Commercial Director and Managing Buyer, you will be managing the procurement of all materials in the region. You will be tasked with raising detailed material order inquiries for tender and material purchases, ensuring that the best competitive rates are obtained, within budget and to time scale. Liaising with clients, you will develop and maintain effective supply sources and negotiate prices for all materials.

This role would therefore ideally suit an experienced Buyer from a construction background who has excellent negotiation skills and is able to work well within a close-knit team.

The Role:

Buying and Purchasing
Procure materials
Negotiating with suppliers
Working closely with the team

The Person:

Previous experience as a Buyer
Construction industry experience
Experience with COINs (not essential)
