The person coming into this role will have real influence over how that supply base evolves, with scope to drive improvements, develop new sources, and support new product introductions from the ground up.
This role would suit a Buyer that wants to be in a technical role and play a key role from start of the manufacturing process.
The Role
- Full ownership of supplier relationships, sourcing strategy, and commercial negotiations
- Direct impact on engineering, quality, and production outcomes - not a back-office function
- NPI involvement - help build and shape the supply base for new products from day one
