Excellent role on offer for an experienced Civils Foreman/Supervisor to become involved and to take a lead role in a variety of interesting projects and to grow within a reputable Civil Engineering and Construction Company.

The company are a civil engineering and construction contractor based in Manchester who provide a full and diverse range of civil engineering and construction services. From petrol filling stations, schools, fast food restaurants, warehousing, car parking, office facilities and with top clients, the variety in the role and the chance to have hands on responsibility is immense. Over the years they have established themselves as a company who deliver consistently high standards to both their longstanding clients as well as to new client projects.
The primary focus in this position will be to deliver sites with groundworks, kerbing, deep drainage and more ahead of modular buildings being dropped into place on site. You will be involved in an range of construction and management activities including delivering clear daily team briefs, making sure the team on site have all the equipment and materials they need to complete their tasks, as well as assisting and overseeing the installation and construction of deep drainage, piling, groundworks and other construction elements. To be a really successful in this role the company will be looking for someone who has a good experience forward planning, having commercial awareness while completing projects and a uncompromising approach to all aspects of health and safety on site.
The role would therefore suit someone who is an experienced Civils Foreman/ Supervisor, who has experience working on site and leading teams on heavy civils and construction works but is also happy to report progress to the company and work with clients and subcontractors in achieving projects to a high standard.

The person:
Experienced Site Foreman/Supervisor - strong knowledge of civil engineering
STSSS and First Aid qualifications are essential, SMSTS would be ideal
Motivated & ambitious
Good communication skills
Motivated and dedicated to providing quality deliverables and maintaining client relationships
High levels of knowledge regarding health and safety
