£35,000-£40,000 + No Call Out + Overtime + Specialist Industrial Training + Company Pension
Location: New Radnor

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC turner to upskill and further develop their career in an established manufacturer that can offer guaranteed job security, a modern work environment, and a fantastic work-life balance due to the hours on offer.

This specialist company tests weapons, ordnance, munitions, and explosives as well as fully instrumented testing of armoured vehicles (civilian and military), armoured materials, and fully engineered armoured structures.

The core responsibilities of this role will be Operating both CNC and manual mills, lathes, and other routine workshop equipment to Manufacture components from run-of-the-mill metals to explosive materials remotely. Day to day, you will carry out the planning, designing, and executing a variety of testing to STANAG, NATO, MoD, and customer standards.

The role:

  • Operating both CNC and manual mills, lathes, and other routine workshop equipment
  • Interpret technical data and compose detailed reports.
  • Testing and processing of explosive compounds following prescribed methods
  • £35,000-£40,000 + No Call Out + Overtime + Specialist Industrial Training + Company Pension


The person

  • Experienced machine operator using both manual and CNC lathes and milling machines.
  • Educated too HNC or equivalent.
  • Ability to get SC clearance.
