Exciting role on offer for a candidate with a strong commercial background in the construction industry to join one of the leading modular manufacturers with a huge presence in the UK within a crucial role with the opportunity to lead a growing team and work across a variety of projects.

This company are a unique specialist within their industry, providing expert solutions in the offsite manufacturing of modular buildings. They have an innovative approach to design, and consistently create high quality builds so due to this they have continued to grow over the last few years and have some exciting projects coming up. Due to this expansion and influx of new projects they are looking for a Commercial Lead to join their team.

In this role you will be responsible for managing contracts from start to finish, handling multiple projects at once. You'll have regular account development reviews with clients. You will prepare and issue project reports and applications for payment as well as final accounts reconciliation. You will attend site visits and resolve any issues that arise. You will need to be capable of understanding drawings and building design. This role is a hybrid role so you will be able to work from home, in the office and on site.

This role would therefore suit an ambitious and forward thinking candidate who has previously worked in Quantity Surveying, Assistant Quantity Surveying, Estimating or Accounting/Commercial Admin background within the construction industry to ensure you have an understanding of the commercial side of construction.

The Person:

  • Commercial background in Quantity Surveying, Assistant Quantity Surveying, Estimating or accounting/commercial background
  • Construction experience
  • Ambitious and forward thinking
  • Full UK Drivers License
