HSE Manager
Glasgow - Or commutable within the Central Belt area
£40,000 - £50,000 + Car + Generous Holidays + Development Opportunities
Excellent opportunity for someone coming from a Compliance and Risk management background where they have been responsible for creating, reviewing and implementing different policies and procedures. This company provide property services to both public and private sector organisations, specialising in Renewable Energy, Gas and Electrical Services. They are pushing a big focus on their Renewable Energy division and pride themselves on the quality of their service and back this up with their leading reputation as a company.
In this role you will be responsible for applying and interpreting audit and compliance requirements for multiple departments. This role will also see you being involved in monitoring the companies HSE management system to ensure a positive healthy and safety culture is being promoted and developed within.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a risk and compliance role from a relevant sector such as social housing, construction, renewable energy or similar, where they have a relevant HSE qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO management systems certifications or equivalent.

The role:
* Implementing and update H&S policy documents to establish a strong HSE culture.
* Carry out site inspections to monitor activity identify any breaches and any remedial actions.
* Ensure all essential guidelines are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
* Conduct internal audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure compliance procedures are followed.
The Person:
* Previous experience in a compliance, risk management or similar role
* Strong understanding of industry regulations, laws and compliance standards
* A relevant degree such as business, finance, law, risk management or similar
* HSE qualification such as NEBOSH or equivalent
