Construction Estimator
$125,000 - $150,000 Including 401k, Insurances and Progression
Long Island, NY (commutable from Huntington, Blue Point, Medford, Ronkonkoma)

In this role you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for labor, materials and subcontracted work. You will review and analyze drawings and perform take-offs to support competitive bids. Working closely with the team you will play a key role in shaping high-profile construction projects.
This role would suit an Estimator looking to take a step up with a commercial and public works background.
The Role:
- Analyze drawings, job specs, RFIs to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors
- Review and evaluate proposals and jobs scopes
The Person:
- Estimating experience of ground up commercial / Public-sector construction procedures
- Strong understanding of estimating software's
- Ability to lead pre-construction efforts and effectively communicate across divisions
