Are you a Contracts Manager, or worked in a similar role, with experience managing multiple projects at a time? Are you looking for a technically challenging and autonomous role, working for a multi-million £ company?

The company are the leading specialists in offering bespoke joinery solutions in the commercial sector and work across many industries. They manufacture, install and maintain bespoke joinery solutions for clients providing fully certified and acoustic performance doorsets. They are in a position where the business continues to grow and with that they need a Contract Manager to come in to help sustain growth.

In this role, you will autonomously manage multiple projects at a time, undertaking activities including but not limited to; leading the delivery of a single team including clients, subcontractors and the design team, coaching and motivating a team, having responsibility for the performance management of the supply chain, upholding Health & Safety procedures and being financially responsible for projects. The company's head office is based in Manchester although you will be expected to be out on site regularly with travel expected. SMSTS and knowledge of First Aid are required for this position.

Therefore, this role would ideally suit a Contracts Manager with joinery experience keen to join a high profile company, working on diverse projects for a strong client base, in a team of highly skilled and established professionals.

The Role:

  • Liaise directly with clients & present a good company image
  • Manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Coach and motivate a team
  • Having responsibility for performance management of the supply chain
  • Upholding all Health & Safety procedures
  • Build effective client relationships

The Person:

  • Able to manage their own workload and have good organisational skills
  • Experience of working either in Contracts Management or in a similar field such as Project Management
  • Ideally have experience in joinery
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a full UK driving licence
  • SMSTS & First Aid qualified
