Contracts Manager (Solar PV)

£70,000 - £80,000 + Progression + Life Assurance + Vehicle + Holidays + Pension
Do you have experience as a Contracts Manager in the solar sector looking for career development with a growing business?
On offer is the opportunity to hold a vital role in the expansion of a specialist renewable energy company in a new territory delivering large scale commercial solar projects.
This ambitious company has established its reputation within Ireland as a leader in the development of commercial renewable energy projects and is expanding their operations across the UK. They require experienced professionals who can assist in their extensive growth plans and deliver a passion for quality energy solutions.
In this role, reporting to the managing director, you will be overseeing the management of multiple projects up to the value of £5 million and leading the development of new projects in the territory. You will be responsible for the scheduling of work programs and the coordination of internal teams and subcontract companies to complete commercial solar projects.
The ideal candidate has an electrical/mechanical qualification having gained experience in managing contracts within the commercial solar sector. They will have a proven background in the coordination of multiple engineering departments from initial conception through to handover of projects.

*Management of multiple commercial scale solar contracts.
*Delivering projects according to customer requirements to increase company reputation in a growing territory.
*Scheduling of work and coordination of multiple departments from design to commissioning.
*Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
The person:
*Experience managing commercial scale solar contracts.
*Relevant electrical/mechanical engineering qualification.
*Management of multi-million pound projects.
*Flexibility to travel where required.
