Controls Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000 + Training + Progression + Benefits
An excellent role on offer as a Control Engineer looking to work for a stable and well-established company. This company also provide progression up to management roles.
Established for over 30 years, this company specialise in the design, installing and commissioning of specialist Electrical units for companies in a number of different industries such as Nuclear, Pharmaceutical and Aerospace They pride themselves on providing an unrivalled level of service, leading them to win some high value projects. Due to this they are now going through a transition of expanding and there for looking for a controls engineer to join their expert team.
In this role you will be supplying professional automation, control and instrument services to arrange of blue chip controller this will involve hands on hard ware and software design and on site commission when required. You will also carry out necessary activities such as hardware design, panel building, installation, and commissioning of industrial control systems, data collection and processing systems such as Batch, Historian and MES.
This role would therefor suit an individual with proven experience in an industrial design environment who is looking for a chance to progress their career at a well-established and growing company.
The Role:
- Manage multi-skill projects consisting of single controllers in standalone applications.
- Design, programming, testing and commission control systems.
- Travelling to UK customers sites as and when required
The Person:
- Minimum Honours degree or HNC + 3 years' experience in an industrial design environment.
- Hold valid driving licence and passport.
- Available to go on trips overseas.
