Controls Engineer
UK Remote

This company are one of the leading energy suppliers to the UK national grid. They have recently completed a green overhaul of all their power plants and stations and over the last 12 months have boasted being Carbon Neutral for the entire year!
In this role you'll work on Cyber Operational Technology security projects. You'll join the Cyber Team immediately and start honing your Cyber Security Skillsets. After some training your role will revolve around Security Policy and Procedure, Compliance Management, Data Classification, and the roll out of new Cyber Security Tools. You'll also work closely with teams across the wider group to upskill and train leaders on how best to protect against Cyber threats, and keep in touch providing support and guidance where required.
The ideal candidate will be a Controls Engineer, PLC Programmer, or similar with a drive to get into Cyber Security. Experience with Operational Technology is essential for this position. Any experience with or qualifications in IEC 62443 or ISO27001 would be beneficial but not essential.

*Retraining as a Cyber Security Specialist

*1 day a month on-site
The Person:
*Controls Engineer, PLC Programmer, or Similar
*Driven to become a Cyber Security Specialist
*Experienced with Operational Technology
