Excellent role on offer for a Design Engineer looking to join an expanding company where you will manage projects from cradle to mass production, being involved in the entire development process, from fresh ideas to testing.
This company design and manufacture specialist products for the Healthcare industry. They sell these products across the globe and due to recently undergoing a period of rapid expansion, they are looking for a Design Engineer who will be instrumental in the design of their specialist products.
This role offers autonomy and a huge variety where you will be responsible for the design of bespoke chairs and bedding, from specification through to production. You will be creating 3D CAD models, producing full product specifications for manufacture, and managing pre-launch product testing.
This exciting role would ideally suit a Design Engineer who is looking to work for a company that creates and develops assistive products, where you will have complete autonomy of all projects and be able to integrate into a brilliant and dynamic company culture.
The Role:
- Designing bespoke seating and bedding
- Design from initial concept through to mass production
- Using SolidWorks to create 3D Models
- £45,000 - £55,000 + Progression + Training + Development + Support + Excellent Benefits
The Person:
- Must have experience with SolidWorks or an equivalent CAD program
- Has experience with hands-on small tools (metal and wood work)
- Live local to Cambridge or serious about relocating to the area
