This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to be in an interesting hands on role, where you'll design and assemble a range of bespoke footwear products whilst receiving ongoing training and excellent development prospects.
This company are leading provider of mobility products and medical aids, serving a wide range of customers nationwide. They are now looking for a new technician to join their expert team at their Bradford depot. They are recognised for their care in their employees which is reflected in their development and training opportunities.
The role itself will be aiding in the design, prototyping and manufacturing bespoke footwear solutions for those needing prosthetic aids and shoes. Therefore a good hands on skillset will be needed to create the products alongside a good IT skillset.
The ideal candidate will have some experience with patterning/CAD design, with a preference towards footwear/shoemaking ideally, however this isn't essential for a the right candidate. Sewing or machining experience is also highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will be making a difference to those with medical needs whilst continuing to learn and develop an in demand skillset. An excellent prospect to build a career within a reputable business that cares for their employees.
