Electrical Design Engineer - Renewable Systems

Are you an electrical design engineer with experience working within the renewable or building services sector?

This well-established company specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems such as heat pumps and solar PV. They have gone from strength to strength in recent years and have built a strong reputation through their bespoke solutions that they offer their clients.
In this role you will be responsible for electrical design of solar PV and heat pump systems for domestic and commercial properties to meet customer specification. You will work on projects from feasibility to handover, liaising with internal teams, clients and contractors, and lead design meetings to establish detailed briefs and budget.
The ideal candidate will be an electrical design engineer with previous experience working within the building services or renewable sector. You must have an electrical engineering degree, experience using CAD and knowledge of wiring regulations.

The Role:
*Electrical design of solar PV and heat pump systems
*Working on a variety of large domestic and high end commercial properties
*Ensure designs are cost-effective and meet customer specifications
*Primarily office based, with opportunities for hybrid working after probation
The Person:
*Experience as an electrical design engineer
*Electrical Engineering degree
*Experience using CAD
*Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations
*Passionate about renewables
*Full UK driving license
