On offer is the opportunity to work for a renewable engineering consultancy company with over 10 years' experience in the industry, who provide high quality design services and technical support. Their goal is to facilitate growth through the expansion of the workforce, without sacrificing the quality of work.
In this role you'll be supporting the planning and design of utility scale solar PV and battery storage units. This includes, the production of detailed drawing, schedules and CAD, creating specifications and calculating equipment, Grid connection studies and liaising with Distribution Network Operators when submitting applications. Gaining more responsibilities as you progress towards the Project Engineer role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a Solar PV or Power systems design role, with knowledge of wiring regulations. They will have experience using CAD programmes, preferably Helios 3D but not essential.

- Design of utility scale Solar PV and Battery storage units
- Creation of solar part layouts through CAD (Helios 3D)
- The production of wiring diagrams for control panels
- Completion of electrical calculations
- Experience in Solar PV or Power Systems Design would be desirable
- Demonstrate a proficiency in CAD programmes and Excel
- Passionate about renewable energy
