Electrical Project Engineer

City of London

Salary up to £51000 (depending on experience) + Pension + Hybrid working (only 2 days a week in the office + holidays

Excellent opportunity for an electrical engineer from a building service or construction background to take a lead role which will involve working on some of the world most iconic building and landmarks whilst working in an empowered environment.

From London's most iconic buildings, to Mansion Houses this organisation manages many sites of historical, political and strategic importance, as well as portfolio of high-value commercial properties. Maintaining and improving the facilities and services within these buildings is a vital part of realising their true. It's also how they are working to meet vital energy efficiency targets.

Tackling a range of electrical engineering projects you will play a vital role in both conserving and enhancing the built assets. You will supervise projects from inception to completion. You will also work with stakeholders to establish their requirements and translate these into technical specifications and briefs. You will also prepare feasibility studies and tender documents. Monitoring the performance of consultants and contractors will be key: you will carry out site inspection of works in progress to ensure compliance with building regulations.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience of building mechanical & electrical engineering, you'll be ready to provide informed advice and offer solutions in areas such as refurbishment, electrical systems, BMS, alarms and lighting. You will also have a working knowledge of the application of CDM 2015 Regulations.

The person:

*Have an electrical engineering background.
*Have experience working in a construction or building services background.
*Ability to offer solutions in areas such as refurbishment, electrical systems, BMS, alarms and lighting
