Electrical Relay Technician (Field Based)

Are you an electrical technician with relay experience working on electrical substations, looking for an opportunity to work a 4-day week with unlimited overtime to maximize earning potential?

In this role you will travel to customer sites across Texas and Louisiana in a company provided vehicle and will be responsible for maintaining, testing and servicing substation control circuits on relay panels, transformers & circuit breakers. You will play an integral part across a range of projects and will have the chance for unlimited overtime to boost your earnings.

The Role:

  • Perform installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of protective relaying equipment in substations
  • Travel to customer sites across Texas and Louisiana
  • Perform function testing of substation control circuits on relay panel, transformers & circuit breakers
  • Excellent earning potential through overtime, external & internal training and career progression
  • Monday - Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00 - Friday paid at overtime (1.5 rate)

The Person:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent in either Instrumentation, Electronics or Technology
  • Hand on experience installing, maintaining or repairing electrical substations
  • Willing to travel site to site across Texas and Louisiana
