This company are a global manufacturer of a variety of electrical and electronic machinery which are used in manufacturing, energy, and industrial environments. This role will be situated within their Smart Infrastructure Division where you will be providing solutions to the power generation and energy industry. The day-to-day responsibilities for this role will be to; resolve problems with complex networks, protocol, interfacing and data issues. The majority of the work will take place in the workshop, assisting to configure systems but occasional site visits may be required.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline and it is also important that you have a good understanding of network products including configuring switches or VLANs. It would also be advantageous if you had experience working with protocols like Modbus or IEC104 and also an understanding of electronic hardware and interfacing, such as micro compressors.
