An exciting opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to join one of the leading companies in sustainable energy solutions, working on a variety of projects including Solar Systems, Battery Tech, Microgrids and Critical Power Services.
Established for more than 8 years, this company is an industry leading sustainable energy solutions provider, operating within several sectors such as Electric Cars, Solar Systems, Battery Tech, Microgrids and Critical Power Services. While continuing to grow, they are looking to expand their operations and plan to release their new range of batteries that will provide longer life and increased range.
In this role you will be responsible for development of the embedded software systems for vehicles. You will analyse and review software requirements and create and design software architecture, generate software and test specifications, conduct coding reviews and design and implement unit tests.
The ideal candidate will be experienced working with C, C++, embedded platforms and firmware engineering. You will have good knowledge of multi-threaded code for time/safety critical applications, PLC programming and various control systems and experience optimising the performance of real-time and fault-tolerant safety critical systems. Any experience in the automotive industry is highly preferable.
