Are you a leader with design experience looking to take the technical lead and mentor a team of engineers through the design process of state-of-the-art machinery?

This specialist company designs and manufactures a varied product range of heavy industrial equipment for a variety of industries such as demolition, construction and excavation. This is a great time to join this expanding company and play a crucial role in their continued success.
On offer is an autonomous position where you will oversee multiple departments including, electrical, mechanical, magnetic and design. You will be responsible for leading the design process of an industrial equipment, reviewing the design, improving efficiencies, process and improving existing designs. You will work closely with the customer and supply chain to improve efficiencies and help the company meet the specification requests of the customers.
This role would suit a proven leader with design skills looking to advance their career to become a technical lead, working across technically challenging engineering projects.
The Role:
- Create and review designs for a range of industrial equipment and machinery varying in size and complexity
- Manage and lead a team of engineers (6-10)
- Improve existing design, develop processes and enhance efficiencies
- Communicate with the customer to ensure design specifications are being met
The Person:
- Proven leadership, supervisory or management skills
- Design engineering skills using Solidworks
- Bachelors in engineering
