Engineering/Project Manager
Newark-on-Trent, England
£45,000 - £50,000 + 24 days Holiday (+BH) + pension
Excellent role on offer for someone looking to join a well-established, close knit company, with the opportunity to manage the design and manufacture of bespoke material handling equipment for a variety of industries.
Do you have experience managing engineering projects? Do you have a sound mechanical/electrical knowledge of material handling solutions?
On offer is the chance to lead the engineering team, reporting to directors and playing a pivotal role within the business. You will be responsible for managing personnel and workflow within the design and manufacture team.
This company boast a varied portfolio, within the power generation, food, plastic and recycling industries. Having developed rapidly and forecasting further growth, they are recruiting for an engineering manager to manage projects and oversee the engineering team.
As well as managing staff and projects, you will also be responsible for some day-to-day design, design reviews, task assignment and liaising with clients, suppliers and directors to progress the company.
Therefore the ideal candidate will have good management skills, as well as a good experience using Inventor or similar 3D software, with good knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of material handling solutions.
