Rare and exciting role on offer for an Estimator to join a growing and highly reputable Modular construction company in the UK.
Are you an Estimator with a background in construction looking to progress your career? Are you looking to join a well-established but rapidly expanding company who focus purely on off-site modular construction?
This dynamic and innovative company specialise in Modern Methods of Construction, in particular, modular construction. Revolutionising the sector, they have seen huge growth over the last year and work within many sectors. Due to this expansion, they are looking for an Estimator to join their team to implement their experience in a challenging and fast paced environment and bring their knowledge and expertise to the company.
In this role you will be tasked with producing estimates and pricing projects, providing accurate tenders and quotations. You will have direct liaison with suppliers, clients and contractors and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the main component of this role would involve the management of accurate calculation of quantities and prices where required. You will liaise directly with external suppliers and subcontractors for all quotations.
This varied yet exciting role would therefore suit an ambitious Estimator who has had experience working within the Construction sector and is looking to progress their career with a successful Modular construction companies in the UK.
The Role:
- Calculation of quantities and prices
- Preparation of proposals and tenders
- Assisting development of supply chain and going out to market
The Person:
- Relevant experience in construction
- Previous experience as an estimator
- Full UK Driving License
