Up to £55,000 DOE + Training & Progression + Exciting Projects
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator or Quantity Surveyor to join a heavy construction company based from offices near Stevenage, with the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects.
Are you a proactive Estimator or Quantity Surveyor interested in producing costs and valuations? Are you looking for a role where you can make a tangible impact on your company? Are you looking for a role with site visits, working across a diverse range of projects?
This business, specialising in providing heavy construction services to main contractors, work on a wide range of high-profile projects primarily within London, including sports stadiums, universities, and retail structures. These services include underpinning and excavation, brick and block work, temporary works, demolition and strip out works, and underground drainage systems. This close-knit business is now looking to onboard an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in order to facilitate their sustainable growth and the uptake of new projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and be interested in creating costs and valuations within construction. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working primarily from offices near Stevenage.

The Role:
*Focus on creating costs and valuations for a wide range of construction projects.
*Pricing and tendering.
*Overseeing and checking costs.
*Working on interesting and exciting construction projects within London.
*Split between office work and site visits within London.
The Person:
*Experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor.
*Relevant accreditations desirable but not essential.
*Strong commercial understanding: creating costs/valuations, understanding how to put a cost together from drawings.
*Track record within pricing and tendering.
*Happy to work from offices near Stevenage.
