This business, a contractor specialising in providing fibre splicing/testing, network cabling, and VoIP services, have recently won a contract to provide fibre services across the south coast of England. Their diverse client base includes the Ministry of Defence, the NHS, as well as companies that build full fibre networks. To facilitate their sustainable growth and support their clients with full fibre network build, they are now looking to take on a number of Fibre Splicer & Testers.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with fibre, both overhead and underground networks, splicing and testing, and using EXFO. The ideal candidate will also be a proactive and dynamic individual looking for work for a company that values their staff.

The Role:
*All-round fibre engineer role, working on overhead networks, spicing, and using EXFO equipment.
*Perform fibre splicing and termination to maintain and expand fibre network infrastructure.
*OTDR testing & pole work.
*Collaborate with our team to plan and execute fibre optic projects efficiently and effectively.
*Field based role covering Portsmouth, Fareham, and Winchester.
*Excellent bonus scheme.

The Person:
*Previous experience with EXFO and fibre splicing is essential.
*Experience working on overhead networks essential (underground desirable but not essential).
*Excellent technical knowledge of fibre networks and related equipment.
*Proactive and dynamic individual happy to work for a small, family-run business.
*NRSWA and IPAF qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
