Are you a Site Engineer looking to work on critically-important projects throughout the UK? Do you have a Mechanical Engineering background with supervisory site experience?
On offer is an exciting Site Engineer position overseeing the day-to-day developments and construction issues on pipeline projects throughout the UK.
The company are owned by two blue-chip companies within the energy sector and are a leading name in the UK's oil and gas infrastructure. They offer fantastic job security with a consistent and stable pipeline of projects and sites, and are looking for a newest addition to their team of experienced Site Engineers. In this role, you will report into the Project Coordinator providing updates on day-to-day construction issues at site. You will ensure all work is conducted according to HSE guidelines as well as industry specifications. Liaising with engineers at all levels, from Design Engineers through to clients and contractors, you will be responsible for the completion of projects according to budgetary and time targets.
This role would suit an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background in Site Management looking to work for an industry-leader on critically-important projects.
The Role:
- Act as the point of contact on Site for all issues that arise with the project.
- Ensure all work is completed according to industry and company specific guidelines and standards.
- Liaise with engineers at all levels, as well as clients and contractors to ensure smooth cooperation between different parties.
The Person:
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering with a background in Site Supervision.
- Knowledgeable in safe construction working practices with NEBOSH, or equivalent, certificates highly advantageous.
- Possess a full, clean UK driving license.
