Are you a field engineer with experience in structural or civil engineering who is looking for a life changing career with one of the worlds largest developers, manufacturers and marketers of construction products?

This well-established company offers a technical support on specification of products to designers, specifier and owner groups such as general contractors and provide recommendations on construction projects to engineers, architects and other designers on sound engineering projects.
In the position you will be responsible for driving sales of specified construction products in line with the firms strategy as well as providing face to face, telephone and electronic communication technical support with customers, so your structural/civil technical knowledge is paramount here. You will work across a wide range of technically challenging residential, commercial and industrial projects, liaise with designers, contractors and site staff in order to the projects on time.
This role would suit someone with a Structural OR Civil Engineering background who is looking for a position that is client facing, that is technically sound and can drive sales for a world leading organization that offers technical and leadership career progression.
The Position:
* Investigate business opportunities in the field to gain new clients
* Visiting jobsites / company offices to provide technical support and educate on products for construction projects
* Review project specifications / calculations for engineers and architects
* Working with local / regional code and approval agencies to obtain approvals
The Person:
* Bachelors Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required
* Knowledge of construction methods and practices
* Circa 20% domestic / international travel - passport and driving license required
