Field Service Engineer (Solar O&M)

£35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Training + Enhanced Pension + Vehicle + Holidays (25 days + bank holidays + earn an extra day of holiday every year of service up to 5 days) + Overtime

Are you from an Industrial Electrician role and are looking to make the transition to the renewable industry?
This company operates and maintains a large majority of the UK's solar market. They have a continuously growing portfolio and are looking to fulfil this growth through the expansion of their team.
In this role you will be providing preventative and corrective site maintenance across their portfolio within a given area. You'll receive both HV Authorised Person training and 18th edition wiring regulations (if not already acquired).
The ideal candidate will have experience in an electrical maintenance role on industrial sites. They will have comprehensive knowledge of the BS 7671 Wiring Regulation Standards and DC electrical systems. If you already have experience working on large scale solar projects this will give you an advantage.
- Inspection and reporting on operations across solar farms.
- Routine maintenance on electrical installations
- Fault finding on electrical components.
- You'll be covering a patch of Colchester, Essex, Cambridge, Ipswich, Chelmsford, Watford, Luton, Milton Keynes
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems on industrial sites
- Willing to travel between multiple sites
- Solar experience is desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
