Excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join an established and growing family-owned business offering a competitive salary, with further overtime available, and great training opportunities through the company's CPD accreditation.
The company is renowned for the installation and maintenance of specialist security, fire, and communication systems. Due to company growth and increasing levels of demand, this safety specialist is looking to expand their valued installation team.
The field-based role includes callouts to various sites, fault-finding and servicing both fire and security systems, along with occasional small installations. The role will require the successful candidate to manage their own workload and meet the companies scheduled deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in servicing fire and security systems, will be able to demonstrate good fault-finding understanding, and will be able to deconstruct/reconstruct fire and security systems. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of specialist test equipment.

The Role
- Servicing of fire and security systems
- Fault-finding and diagnosis
- Identifying a variety of different devices and cables
- Work unsupervised individually, or as part of a team
- Communicate with customers
- 1 in 4 Callout Rota
The Person
- 3+ years fire and security system servicing experience
- Fault-finding ability
- Ability to work at heights e.g. ladders, scaffold towers, cherry-pickers etc.
- Hold or be willing to obtain relevant industry qualifications
- Knowledge of specialist systems used by the company - Notifier, Gent, Morely, Hik-vision, Hanwha, Texecom tec. (desirable)
