Forensic Engineer - Structural/Civil Background (Opportunity to grow your own team)

$130,000 - $150,000 + Remote position + Bonus + Car Allowance + 401(k)

Florida (Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville, Fort Myers, Lakeland, Miami, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Lake City and Fort Myers)

This is an exciting opportunity on offer for Forensic Engineer / Structural Engineer with a background in construction defect analysis and reporting to join a dynamic, market leading company where you will spearhead the business growth over the next 5 years plus years.

Are you an ambitious Forensic Engineer with a proven background within a Structural Engineering and a construction environment with previous experience in a similar position? Do you have the ability to combine your analytical and procedural skills to achieve quality results?

This well-established firm is regarded as an industry leader in the forensic engineering with long terms plans in place to ensure that the organization is prepared for considerable growth and increased profitability. They are looking to achieve this through appointing a driven engineer to help grow the business to the next level in Florida.

In this position you will be responsible for providing engineering/technical, managerial and business development support to the Vice President of Construction Defect Services. You will also investigate an array of engineering and construction projects to determine the cause and origin of failures, damages and incomplete work.

This role would suit a Forensic Engineering professional that has great experience in defect reporting and analysis that wants to build a long term career with a firm that has a great pipeline of projects.

The Role:

· Provide exert defect analysis consulting on various construction and surety claims.
· Perform field inspection of residential, commercial and industrial projects to assess completion and project milestones.
· Complete accurate reports on projects involving financial data
· Travel to perform assignments as needed

The Person:

· Bachelor of Science Degree in Structural OR Civil Engineering
· PE License
· Forensic experience preferred
· Willing to travel 50% if the time in this position
