FPGA / Hardware Engineer (Flexible Working)

Commutable to either: Bristol, Dorking, Burton-in-Trent, Dorchester, Glasgow, Gloucester, Harwell, Middlesbrough, Plymouth, Warrington

£60,000 - £72,500 + Company Pension + Performance Bonus + Private Medical + Holiday Purchase + Progression + Excellent Benefits

In this role you will be working in a multi-faceted capacity, providing nuclear control system design and verification services using FPGAs. You will be involved specifying, designing, implementing and verifying solutions to challenging engineering programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FPGA concepts and hardware, along with experience in VHDL design toolsets and verification suites. They will also possess knowledge of developing complex FPGA architectures and supporting software.

The Role:

  • Providing nuclear control system design and verification services using FPGAs
  • Specifying, designing, implementing and verifying solutions to challenging engineering programmes
  • £60,000 - £72,500 + Company Pension + Performance Bonus + Private Medical + Holiday Purchase + Progression + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

  • Have a strong understanding of FPGA concepts and hardware design
  • Experienced in VHDL design toolsets and verification suites
  • Experience of developing complex FPGA architectures and supporting software
  • Able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting
