The company are leaders within their sector, delivering bespoke structural solutions across the construction industry. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Graduate Design Engineer to strengthen their technical team.
This role would suit an ambitious graduate who is eager to learn, develop practical engineering skills, and build a long-term career within civil or structural design.
The Role:
* Design of steel structures and specialist equipment using AutoCAD
* Carry out engineering calculations and finite element analysis (FEA)
* Assist with design development from concept through to manufacture
* Work closely with a skilled and experienced engineering team
* Involved in a variety of interesting construction-based projects
* Monday to Friday, office-based role
The Person:
* Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Knowledge or interest in structural steel design
* Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
