This company are a subsidiary of a major contractor in the UK Construction sector. They focus on sustainable construction solutions, utilising structural steel and timber. With their own steel and timber manufacturing facilities, this company are innovative in their approach to modern methods of construction, working to spearhead a sustainable build environment. They have an increasing workload and promising pipeline of work so are therefore looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join the team.
In this role you will be responsible for producing engineering drawings and designs to ensure projects are delivered to specific client time and financial constraints. Your responsibilities will include: producing technical designs on a wide array of construction and engineering projects, complete work on projects including Residential, Commercial and Industrial, utilising materials including steel, concrete and timber, producing reports, working closely with internal project team members and technicians to prepare drawings and deliverables, carrying out site visits and surveys and assisting with project management.
This role would therefore ideally suit an individual who is seeking a role as a Graduate Structural Engineer. You will have a relevant degree or Masters qualification in Structural or Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will also be an excellent communicator and seeking an opportunity to progress their career and work towards becoming chartered.
