In this role you will be tasked as the Head of Department to support the institute's finance and procurement dept with generating revenue through bids and tenders. Included with the role is training and top-up courses on any aspects of the role that you may need to refresh yourself on alongside the familiarisation of the institutes individual frameworks/databases.
The ideal candidate will be a forward thinking professional. Any and all experience within an FE environment in line with experience of managing revenue generation and working to a budget is key. As the institute develops, this role becomes ever more crucial in having someone to drive innovation, foster business growth, and manage strategic partnerships to ensure success and competitiveness.

The role:
* Research, identify and draft appropriate grants, bids and tenders to facilitate growth
* Support college leaders and managers to respond innovatively to a changing skills landscape
* Work with the Employer Engagement Team to develop long term and collaborative partnerships to support key regional stakeholders
* 37.5 hours per week
The person:
* Track record of successfully completing bids and tenders, preferably in the FE sector
* Naturally innovative with a positive, can-do attitude
* Highly self-motivated and able to motivate/inspire confidence in others
