Head of Sales (Data Centre Power Technologies)

Remote/Home Based - Germany

€110,000 - €140,000 + Bonus up to 25% + Company Vehicle + 30 Days Holiday + Expenses + Excellent Company Benefits

Excellent opportunity for a commercially driven candidate from a Data Centre Power background, looking to join a global, market leader in an autonomous role with a chance to develop and grow a team.

This company have a worldwide presence and are split into multiple subsidiaries with one common aim - to provide green energy solutions to a wide variety of industries for different applications. As a result of continued growth, their Data Centre Technology division is looking for a Head of Sales in Germany to grow this arm of their business. This division specialise in Uninterruptible Power Supply, Cooling Systems, Power Distribution, Genset technologies and more.

In this role you will manage an existing team and work closely with blue chip clients within the Data Centre industry. You will be charged with coming up with and implementing a strategy for Sales across Germany where you can maintain and grow existing business, whilst developing new clients.

The person will have strong Sales and Business development experience in a B2B setting. You will have strong technical knowledge and experience within the Data Centre sector and have a good understanding of the power technologies associated with the sector. You will need to speak English and German for the role as well as having strong leadership capabilities in order to support the running of the team.

The Role:

  • Creating and developing propositions for customer Data Centre requirements
  • Building long-term relationships with key decision makers
  • Leading your own team in Germany
  • Remote working - can be based anywhere

The Person:

  • Strong technical understanding of technology such as - UPS, Power Systems, Cooling, MV LV, HV, Gemset etc.
  • Sales / Business Development background in B2B
  • Previous leadership experience
  • English and German language skills
