£40,000 - £45,000 + Hybrid Working + Excellent Training Opportunties + 33 Days Holidays + Enhanced Pension + Alchemy Employee Scheme

Do you have experience working in the chemical industry or in a related sector? Do you have a Health and Safety background and looking to take this experience into a new role?

This company are well established with over 50 years' experience in their industry and have continued to grow to the industry leader they are today. They are looking to add to their team with the addition of a HSE advisor to join their health and safety team. You will have great access to internal and external training opportunities to aid your professional development and grow with the company.

In this role, you will support the health and safety management team and work alongside two other advisors, to ensure the site operate in compliance with HS&E legislation. You will support the improvement of the site as they look to always upgrade and improve their operations. As part of this you will carry out audits, risk assessments and continuous improvement procedures.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a knowledgeable health and safety professional with a degree in a chemistry / chemical engineering related degree.

The Role:
* HSE Advisor supporting the HSE Manager to support site safety
* Risk Assessments, Internal Audits, Structured advice on Continuous Improvement
* Excellent benefits, including training opportunities, potential progression, enhanced pension, hybrid working and Alchemy employee scheme
* 8:45am to 17:00pm, Monday to Friday

The Person:
* Experience as a HSE Advisor or H&S Manager or H&S Specialist or similar backgrounds are considered
* Chemical Engineering / Chemistry or similar degree
* Have knowledge of internal audits
*Have experience of risk assessments and safety process
*Commutable to Leek
