Aberdeen (Some travel Onshore & Offshore when required)

£32,000 - £50,000 + Progression + Full Product/Industry Training + 30 Days Holiday + Overtime + Travel & Accommodation Covered + Company Benefits

Excellent opportunity to work for globally renowned OEM in an Instrumentation Technician role, with on-the-job training in their niche industry and bespoke products.

Established over 30-years ago, this business are specialists in fire & gas detection products. They export their goods worldwide, and currently have a massive sweep of new technical products in the pipeline. In line with their expansive plans, they are seeking an additional Instrumentation Technician to train up and build their career with the business.

In this varied role, you'll design, install, commission and maintaining Fire & Gas Detection field instrumentation as well as the sub-systems used to monitor and control CCTV fire detection systems and processes. You'll receive full training in their products and industry.

Majority of the work will be based from their test workshop in Aberdeen. They estimate between 10-15% will be working away offshore and onshore. When working away, a daily rate is provided and your travel and accommodation is covered.

THE ROLE:
*Design, install, commission, maintain Fire & Gas Detection instrumentation
*Product testing, compliance, data analysis
*Full product training provided
*Most work onsite in Aberdeen, 10-15% of the time will be away either Onshore or Offshore

THE PERSON:
*Previous experience in an Instrumentation Technician role
*Happy to work offshore/onshore when required
*Engineering certification advantageous - Instrumentation & Control / Engineering Maintenance etc.
*Looking for technical training and long-term progression
