Junior Asset Manager - Training in Renewables

UK Wide

£27,000 - £32,000 + Training in Wind / Solar / Hydro + Progression Opportunities

Would you like to join a growing company with a wide variety of Renewable Energy projects across Scotland, in a role that will provide you with a large amount of autonomy, responsibility and day-to-day variety as well as new development opportunities?

This company specialises in the development, construction, ownership and operation of Renewable projects, focussing primarily on wind, hydro and solar technologies. Due to an increased demand for their services this organisation is looking to bring on a facilities management or agriculture / industrial engineer to train to become an Asset / Site Manager for their Renewable Energy sites across Scotland.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring service delivery to a high standard through site management and maintenance, co-ordination of contractors and recording project data through SCADA tools. The opportunity to learn and develop will be readily available due to a comprehensive support network of colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have hands on engineering experience coming from a FM, agricultural or industrial engineering background. They will have a keen attention to detail and will be able to translate this into high quality report writing. It would be desirable but not essential if the candidate had experience working with wind farms and turbines, knowledge of SCADA tools, experience working at heights or first aider qualifications.

The role:

  • Organising site work schedules
  • Regular site inspections
  • Managing site safety
  • Monitoring and recording production and operations through SCADA and project logs
  • Developing relationships with local communities and landowners

The person:

  • Experience in an FM, agricultural or industrial engineering background
  • Self-starter with an appetite for learning
  • Committed to growing and developing the business
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience working with wind farms and turbines (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of SCADA (Desirable)
  • Experience working at heights (Desirable)
  • First aider qualifications (Desirable)
