An excellent engineering opportunity for an individual with experience in manufacturing or production processes who is looking for the chance to train or progress as Manufacturing Engineer, whilst working for a well-established and expanding company.

Established for over 50 years, this company specialise in the design and build of bespoke machinery used in manufacturing facilities across the globe. Due to their continued growth, they are in the process of implementing an MRP production system in order to manage their production, supply chain and business more efficiently and subsequently require a Manufacturing Engineer to join their Operations team.

In this varied role you will be tasked with assisting the implementation of and controlling the company's new production system. This will involve production engineering, manufacturing routings and purchasing requirements, along with continuous improvements and system maintenance in accordance with business sales & production requirements. In addition to this you will be provided with specialist training on the system and have the chance to make the role your own.

This role would therefore suit an individual with a background in engineering manufacturing or production processes who is looking for the chance to train or progress as a Manufacturing Engineer whilst working for a well-established and expanding company.

The Role:

  • Implementation & managing new production system
  • Continuous improvements
  • Manufacturing routings & Purchase requirements
  • Create system training material where required
  • Training provided
  • £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus + Training + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

  • Experience with multi-discipline engineering manufacturing or production processes & Bills of Materials
  • Some experience with MRP or production systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work on their own or as part of a cross-functional team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commutable distance to Colchester
