Junior/ Graduate Metallurgist
£25,000 - £30,000 + Excellent Industry Training + Career Progression + 33 Days Holiday + Pension + Overtime

This company delivers innovative and bespoke Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification solutions for our customer's operations, products and supply chains. They are enjoying continued success as a company, and have continued growth goals. Due to this they are recruiting a Junior/ Graduate Metallurgist to join the team.
In this role you will provide technical metallurgical consultancy in a wide range of disciplines. You will work on areas of quality, safety, delivery and environmental performance using appropriate problem solving tools and mechanical and metallurgical techniques.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate or junior engineer who has knowledge and an interest in metallurgy, materials or mechanical engineering who is looking to take the next step in their career.
This is truly a fantastic opportunity for take a role in an interesting and niche industry where you will be involved all production activities and can progress into a senior management position.
The Role:
* Perform failure investigations, metallurgical assessments, and advise on material and process related issues
* Contributing to quality audits
* Working closely with the NDT, to help company achieve goals
* Testing materials and products across a range of industries
The Person:
* Metallurgical or Materials or Mechanical engineering background or similar
* Keen interest in NDT, materials investigation and general metallurgy
* Commutable from Bristol, Yate, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare, Newport and the surrounding areas
