£40,000 - £45,000 + Monday to Friday (Days) + Flexible Working Hours + Company Benefits

Are you from a Logistics / Warehouse / Supply Chain background with good leadership and people management experience, looking to join a well-established business with the opportunity to step up into an operations role in future?

On offer is a varied, days based role, where you will have the autonomy to put your own stamp on the business and take control of their logistics / operational side.

The company are food manufacturers with a great reputation within their industry and have received globally recognised awards each year for their high food safety standards.

You will take control and lead the warehouse, transport and maintenance functions of the business, overseeing a team of around 20 staff with 4 direct reports.

This role will suit someone from a Logistics / Warehouse / Supply Chain related background, with strong people management experience.

The Role:

  • Leading the Warehouse and Transport functions of the business, ensuring everything is operating smoothly
  • Overseeing a small maintenance team (no maintenance experience required)
  • People management - dealing with staffing issues, disciplinaries, appraisals, and reviews
  • Monday to Friday, days based role (flexible working hours)

The Person:

  • Any of the following job titles would be relevant: Logistics Manager / Supply Chain Manager / Warehouse Manager / Stores Manager / Transport Manager / Operations Manager / Materials Manager / Inventory Manager / Distribution Manager
  • People management experience
  • Key experience would be within warehouse and transport management
  • Any experience overseeing a maintenance / facilities team would be advantageous (no maintenance experience required)
