Monday - Friday Days (Monday- Thursday 7.30-4.30pm & Friday 7am-1pm)

Bridgwater - commutable from - Chard, Cullompton, Honiton, Tiverton, Burnham-on-Sea, Taunton, Glastonbury, Weston-super-Mare, Yeovil, Minehead, Clevedon

Are you an Engineering Maintenance Manager from a Manufacturing background looking to join a global business in a senior level position where you will have a leading role in the company and the opportunity to drive a passionate & successful maintenance team towards future growth.

As the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of two and overseeing maintenance plans, improvement projects, and asset management systems. As the successful candidate, you will be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in multi-skilled maintenance and engineering management. You will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail and a passion for driving continuous improvement. This is a Monday to Friday days role, allowing for a healthy work-life balance, and the chance to enjoy all that Bridgwater and the surrounding area has to offer.

The Role:

* Management, coaching and development of a multi-skilled maintenance team
* Assisting with preventative maintenance plans, breakdowns and site improvement projects to achieve maximum plant performance
* Management of the company's Asset Management System

The Person:

*Minimum 5 years' experience working in a managerial multiskilled maintenance role within a manufacturing and/or chemical plant
*Previous experience of working with Computerised Maintenance Management/ Asset Management Systems
*Experience in planning and implementing engineering projects
* Experience of working within a COMAH or other high hazard environment & knowledge of DSEAR and ATEX requirements preferred
