Maintenance Engineer (Training in Renewables)

This opportunity would be open to a wide range of candidates with any practical-based role being considered.
This business specialises in providing turnkey solutions across the complete service lifecycle, ranging from installation and maintenance, to management of commercial and industrial-scale sites across the UK and Europe. Due to continued success they are now looking to expand their well-established Biomass Operations and Maintenance team.
In this role the Maintenance Engineer will look to support the Biomass team in servicing and maintaining Biomass boilers, as well as ensuring fuel stores are kept tidy for operational use. The role will also require field-based job reports as well as infrequent out of hours call-outs. To compensate for this the successful person will be paid hourly and on a door-to-door basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a hands-on role and will be able to bring this adaptability into their new role to make it their own. This will be reinforced with good communicative skills as well as a full UK driving license. Additional experience with Biomass boilers or commercial plumbing and heating would be desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided on relevant Biomass systems.

The Role:
* Assisting in servicing and maintaining Biomass boilers
* Occasional out of hours work through call outs
* Ensuring Fuel Stores are clean and tidy
* Field based job reports
* 08:00am - 17:00pm core hours, with average of 2 hours paid travel per day
The Person:
* Self starter with previous experience in a hands-on role
* Full UK driving license
* Good communicative skills
